Hi,

It's Phil.

Yes, I just used that opening line from the Dire Straits as a subject line.

I know, my creativity knows no bounds. Sometimes it scares even me.

Aaaaaaaaanyway, wanted to talk about how to get more clients and/or make more profit as a business owner.

One of the easiest ways to be more profitable is lowering 'cost per lead'. So whatever you're paying now to get a potential customer in the door.

If you don't know that number... it should be high priority to find that out. It's important.

Most businesses can easily lower cost per lead by doing a very simple thing.

Lower the threshold for prospects to raise their hands.

Instead of asking them to pick up the phone and call, ask them to text you.

Instead of asking them to fill out a 47 field form, ask them to fill out a 3 field form.

Instead of asking them to send a DNA sample in the mail, ask them to send an email.

Instead of asking them to send an email, ask them to DM you.

Instead of asking them to DM you, ask them to comment something on your social media post.

You get the idea.

Lowering threshold is done by removing barriers. Taking the burden off their shoulders and carrying it for them.

Yes, this means you'll have to talk to clients a bit more buuuuuuut it also means you'll get in touch with a lot of them in an earlier stage. So you're casting a wider net, which means you catch more potential clients, which lowers cost per lead and cost per transaction.

Go through your process and see if you can find any opportunities to lower the threshold for your clients. It's one of the quickest ways to boost your numbers.

Talk soon,

Phil

P.S. I've been working with my team on an easier way to work with us as clients in 2025.

Close to finishing up the document that has more info.

Will let you know when it's done.

P.S.S. Happy New Year and 2025 is going to be AWESOME!
